Initially, I photographed almost exclusively birds, drawing my passion from natural subjects.

 

 

I have spent 7 years in the Tibetan region and travelled to a few other Himalaya regions, the profound connection to the mountains gave me great inspiration.

 

 

 

 

Now much of my work is to find peace in the minute details of the landscape; on a boulder, under a leaf, in the reflections of a rock pool and more likely to make images by feel. Visit Gallery for viewing more work

 

 

Poetry is a form of expression to my drifting thoughts, it changes over time and sometimes my emotions can also be conflicted. Framed in the romantic and passionate scene, with a touch of eastern philosophy.

2019 was a very special year to me. I returned to China for 3 months and travelling to Wulingyuan National Park, Guilin, Yellow Mountains and again Tibet. Subsequently, I rented little Bothy in a remote Scottish Island, Isle of Eigg and had an unforgettable 2 months of creating images and writing poetry. Most of my current collections in image and poetry came from this period.

Then the outbreak of Covid19 changed my life, when travel restriction worsened and cancelling all my workshops became apparent, I decided and moved to London in May 2020, to explore a different life, and perhaps images and poetry will follow……
